Downtown Summer Music Series: Shakin’ Like Sammy

On July 30th, we spent a great evening at Acacia Park for the Downtown Summer Music Series, featuring Shakin’ Like Sammy and presented by the Rotary Club of Colorado Springs.

From the start, the park was full of energy as families, friends, and visitors gathered to enjoy live music under the summer sky. Shakin’ Like Sammy delivered a high-energy performance that kept the crowd engaged and created a fun, lively atmosphere throughout the night.

One of the best parts of the evening was seeing the community come together—not just for the music, but also to support local vendors. Events like this highlight the strong sense of community in Colorado Springs and the importance of supporting local businesses and organizations.
